Rural Life in Quiche



Firewood was the main source of heat for cooking. Every day in Santa Cruz just before lunchtime we could smell wood fires which had been started to cook the noon meal. Since one side of the clinic building was open we could smell this every day in the clinic.





















The following few pictures are in a household that makes beautiful fabric that women use for their traditional garments.
